Seven to ten days with proper aftercare, whatever your rinse window. Colour continues developing after your rinse — which lands 30 minutes to 4 hours after application, set with your technician — peaks around day two, then fades evenly. A deeper depth is a longer develop, not a longer-lasting tan. Moisturise daily, pat dry rather than rub, and skip long hot soaks or chlorine to hold the top end of that range.

Exfoliate 6–24 hours ahead and shave or wax the day before — not the day of. Arrive with clean skin: no lotion, oil, deodorant, perfume or makeup, because they all act as a barrier. If you have a manicure or pedicure, book it before your tan, not after.

Whatever you're comfortable in — most clients tan in a bikini bottom, dark underwear, or nothing at all inside the tent. Afterwards, loose dark clothing and flip-flops: no tight waistbands, bra straps or leggings until you've rinsed. We bring a hair cap, sticky feet, nose filters and barrier cream.

About 6 × 6 ft of floor with reasonable ceiling height, plus one standard outlet within reach. A bathroom, bedroom corner, garage or hotel suite all work. We lay a drop cloth, put up the tent and run extraction — the contained area is entirely ours to clean up.

The colour comes from DHA (dihydroxyacetone), a sugar-derived cosmetic ingredient that reacts with amino acids in the outermost layer of skin — no UV exposure at all. Our professional solutions are vegan, organic aloe-enriched, fragrance-free and allergen-free, with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C, squalane and green tea. We use nose filters and extraction to limit inhalation of mist. If you're pregnant, on medication that affects skin, or prone to reactions, check with your physician and let us know — we can patch test.

Sooner than you think. Every Midnight Tans appointment uses our premium fast-develop solution, so your rinse comes 30 minutes to 4 hours after application — the exact window is set with your technician at consultation. There is no overnight wait: tan after work and shower the same evening. Rinse in warm water with no soap or scrubbing, then pat dry; your first full shower with product comes 24 hours later.

Your technician sets your rinse window during the consultation, based on your skin type, your natural tone and how deep you want to go: a shorter window for a soft sunlit finish, a longer one for deeper colour. It is the same fast-develop solution for every client and every service, never an add-on, so you always leave with a time, not a guess.

We serve Boca Raton and Delray Beach as home markets, with Boynton Beach and Highland Beach regularly covered. Travel is complimentary within 12 miles of either city; beyond that it's +$25 per additional 8-mile zone. Not sure where you land? Reschedule or cancel free up to 24 hours before your appointment. Inside 24 hours we ask for 50% of the service, and a no-show or a locked door at the appointment time is charged in full — mobile means the time slot and the drive are already committed. Bridal and event bookings are confirmed in writing with dates agreed in advance.
